The Japanese automotive giant Toyota has begun cultivating strawberries at the Kamigo Factory to support environmental sustainability and utilize waste. In this innovative project, not only does the utilization of waste heat and CO2 increase strawberry production, but it also contributes to carbon neutrality. The greenhouse installed at the factory is designed with the goal of providing technical support to farmers and establishing efficient agricultural systems. The strawberries and tomatoes produced are provided free of charge at Toyota employee cafeterias.
